Who am I?
Clavia (pronounced Kliv-vee-uh) Allen is multifaceted and has a rich background and diverse experiences. She is an accomplished author, publisher, certified women’s business enterprise owner, and servant leader. Her passion for seeing people win has provided a platform for their voices to be heard and she understands her assignment, allowing her gifts to make room for her. Her leadership style is inclusive, empathetic, and inspiring, earning her the respect and admiration of her peers and colleagues.
My Origin
Born in the twin islands of Trinidad & Tobago, Clavia Allen migrated to Brooklyn, New York, at the age of five to reunite with her family and begin a journey rooted in faith, creativity, and service. As the middle child of three siblings, Clavia often felt out of place, but that sense of "otherness" became the catalyst for discovering her voice and purpose. After being married for seven years, she experienced a significant life shift following her divorce in 2017, which further ignited her passion for empowering women, youth, and families through her personal story and professional mission.

Currently residing in Central Orlando, Florida, with her two beautiful children, Clavia is the founder of Chosen31 Essentials—a faith-centered platform dedicated to healing through storytelling, dance, publication, and media. Her life's work is focused on making an impact one story at a time.
Clavia’s first love has always been dance. She began dancing at age seven—entirely self-taught—and only took her first formal dance class (modern dance) in college for credit. Despite the lack of early training, she was born with the gift of movement. In 2007, she launched her first business—a thriving dance camp that ran for 12 years, helping children, teens, and adults find confidence through expression. Today, she has reconnected with that passion through Chosen Movements, a 6-week faith-based program using movement and storytelling to facilitate healing and identity.

A published author since 2010, Clavia recently released the second edition of her debut book in 2025. In 2020, she also published a series of eBooks, including one of her favorites: I AM from A to Z, a powerful affirmation guide that is now central to her public conversations and coaching work.
Clavia is also the visionary behind Chosenpreneurs, a quarterly initiative engaging youth in educational conversations about reading, business, and entrepreneurship—proving that with the right tools and faith, it’s never too early to pursue purpose.

In 2016, she launched Chosen31HandCraft—a creative brand inspired by 1 Peter 2:9 and Proverbs 31:31—as a way to provide for her children and build a legacy of creativity and entrepreneurship. What began as a side project quickly became a thriving expression of her faith and mission.
With over 10 years of experience in patient care and customer service, Clavia also earned her Master’s in Public Administration from Colorado Christian University in 2018. She continues to serve communities through youth mentorship, church engagement, and creative platforms. Her talk show #HerCHOSENStory with Clavia provides women a space to share their untold stories, and she lends her skills to film projects in Georgia as a script supervisor. As of October 2024, she is also a co-host of an affirmation podcast and the Girls Affirmation Room within the A.M. Affirmations Space, helping women and adolescent girls speak kindly and powerfully to themselves.

Clavia expresses deep gratitude to her parents, whose servant hearts laid a foundation not rooted in mere survival, but in servant leadership—a legacy she now carries forward with intention and grace.

Now transitioning into the logistics industry, Clavia is determined to become the first Afro-Caribbean American woman to lead with faith and excellence in the field. Through all her ventures, she continues to build spaces where faith meets purpose, and purpose creates lasting impact.
